Copilot that works inside your business systems

Custom MCP servers that plug Microsoft 365 Copilot Cowork into the systems a business actually runs on, with every person signed in as themselves.

  1. WhenAsk Copilot in plain English
  2. ThenSigned in as yourself
  3. ThenMCP server calls the system
  4. ResultLive answers, actions where allowed

The problem

The data that runs a business lives in its line-of-business systems, and getting anything out of them means clicking through screen after screen. Out of the box, Copilot can’t see any of it.

What I built

  • A custom MCP server that gives Copilot Cowork tools to read from and act in the PSA
  • Per-user sign-in through Microsoft Entra ID, so Copilot works with each person’s own permissions instead of one shared service account
  • The same pattern used to bring a distributor’s platform into Copilot
  • Workflows on top of it, like a weekly timesheet review where Copilot flags billable work logged as non-billable

Why it matters

People ask in plain English and get live answers from the system of record, and every access rule the business already has still applies.

Where it fits

  • PSA and ticketing
  • CRM
  • ERP and finance
  • Distributor platforms
  • Any system with an API
